Who is hungry? Pittsburgh metal band Prime 8 arrives at the dinner table with their video for their newest single called “Feast at a Famine”. The video portrays just your average family settling in for a nice meal before being attacked by a zombie, and having to fight before they become the next meal. During the video, we watch as the various band members become zombified versions of themselves.
Prime 8 is the only local metal band around that combines thrash metal sounds with a violin of all things, and somehow even though you wouldn’t think so, it works to provide an unique headbanging experience. Along the roaring intense vocals, anytime that Prime 8 performs, you are in for a treat. I had the privilege of watching them perform live, and they are a very energetic passionate band who just loves rocking the stage and getting the crowd involved. You can actually get a glimpse of what that is like in the video.
