Here we have a rock anthem from Rod Wilkins and the LOC Band called “Mr Floppy” about a little girl and her attachment to her stuffed animal.
The song and video, which is shot entirely in black and white, portrays a scenario most parents are familiar with with kids who have their favorite toys that they see as actual live breathing things. The mon and dad are asleep, and are woken up by their child because they are worried that their stuffed friend is sick or dying. In this case it is a little girl who wakes up her dad because she is concerned her stuffed rabbit Mr.Floppy is dead. It’s pretty cute, and the video is peppered with shots of the band jamming along. As a whole, I thought the song was pretty fun.
