With today being Bandcamp Day, and with Mother’s Day coming up with this weekend, I thought it was be very appropriate to feature Scottish dark electronic duo Witch of The Vale with their first official music video for their song called “Commemorate”.
One thing you will notice right away in watching this video is the contrast between light and dark, and it gives the video this ambient creepy quality to it. The song itself also contributes as well to the dark quality with the lead singer Erin Hawthorne crooning throughout the song as she being backed by slow drudgey beats.
