UK Hardcore band Dayshifter is here with their melodic single “Anywhere but Here”. It lulls you in with gentle melodies before kicking in high gear in the chorus with brutal riffs.
The song is about those times where we deal with depression and loneliness, and wishing to be anywhere else other than your current situation. You experience an existential crisis and think there has to be something better out there, it’s just a matter of finding it. The song is very poignant, and I am sure most of us can relate as we all been there.
