Beyond Machines is an up and coming experimental rock/metal band hailing from Pittsburgh, formed during the pandemic. To introduce themselves, they released the first single from their full length debut album Machination called “Paranormal”.
The song starts off with fierce intensity, and keeps it up until the end. The combination of roaring vocals mixed with stellar guitar work turns into an experience that will make you want to head bang and stomp to the rhythm. While the song is mostly metal, there are shades of electronica as well. The lyrics speaks of what is like to experience night terrors, and the video shows a woman going though that. This is a band who is showing they mean business, and the song and video production displays that perfectly. Their partnership with PACGroove Records/Von Artists LTD, which is managed by none other than Paul Crosby who is the drummer for Saliva, will serve them well. If this is the first taste of what they have in store, definitely cannot wait to hear more.
