Hailing all the way from Germany, progressive rock band Thybeaux brings us a look at their single “Black Lines”.
It has a fierce opening with brutal vocals and aggressive guitar work. It keeps up the intensity for most of the song before slowing down a tempo for the bit before building back up. The song seems to talk about what goes through one’s mind when getting an tattoo, and the intense experience that they go through. The video shows visuals of the band performing as well as someone getting a tattoo on their back. The transition between roaring male vocals to elating singing of the female vocalist works well, and I am sure anyone who has gotten inked will relate to the story this song is telling.
