Kissing Candice is a five piece band of diversified sound, combining metalcore, industrial, and metal. They have a taste of the theatrical with each member sporting a different horror related costume, complete with a mask. It would be easy to just classify them as just another masked band like Slipknot, except once you witness what they are about, you realize that is exactly what they want you to think. They want to take you by surprise and you realize too late the horror show that you will be in for.
The band is currently working on releasing their sophomore album Manifest and they recently released the 4th single from that album called “Hallowed Ground”. They describe it as one of their heaviest songs yet, and I would agree. It is very fierce and in your face. The video is in your face as well as it was filmed with a fish-eye lens. They come for the throat with their unconventional sound, and that is what is great about what they do. I definitely enjoyed this, and metalheads far and wide will dig this as well.
