One half of the band Blood of the Beloved, the masked enigma known as Skeptik has his own solo project going on, and he decided to release a new album called It’s All Filth.
The album contains 13 tracks, and there is a definite a metal vibe to it. A combination of hip-hop, trap, and just a bit of everything, he really shows he isn’t afraid to push the envelope and doesn’t just stick with just one genre. For just one person who does it all on his own with the vocals, guitars, and the beats, this is pretty impressive stuff. It will have you banging your head and punching the air as you listen to it. If you are fans of Slipknot or Mushroomhead, then this is for you.
Favorite tracks that I can pick out would be the title track “It’s All Filth”, “Conversations In The Dark”, “With You”, and “Scream”.
