Decoys(2004)(Review)[Twisted Throwback Thursday]

Boy movies from the 2000’s were so horny. We can probably blame American Pie for starting that trend, but you couldn’t get too far without running into a movie that featured horned up college guys trying their damnest to get laid. Even horror movies were not spared as is the case of Decoys released in 2004.

The plot is about best bros Luke and Roger just trying to lose their virginity, and meet a pair of girls who are more than meets the eye.

You may need a mug of hot cocoa for this one as frostiness plays a part in this one. It ends up being how the creatures are able to survive. This is like a mix of The Thing and Species. For the most part you will enjoy dumb guys thinking they are going to get lucky only to have the tables turned on them.

Only Luke is able to figure out what is going on, and how to put a stop to it. But no one believes him until it is too late. The ending gets very explosive indeed. And as per usual, there’s a end teaser which leads into the sequel.

This was very enjoyable and will fall in line if you appreciate the sexed up movies from the 2000’s era. It is currently streaming on Peacock if you are curious enough to check it out.
