We are almost at the end of our series and I hate to say it but Tremors 6: A Cold Day in Hell doesn’t get any better. This time Graboids and their kin invade the arctic.
Burt and son are called to action and Burt finds himself fatally poisoned from Graboids. So they have to keep one of them alive to extract a cure. Oh and the daughter of Val randomly shows up as well who is familiar with the Graboid menace.
Same crappy CGI of said Assblasters and Graboids with the latter making themselves more of a threat. Except their mouth tentacles lost the ability to detach themselves.
Low brow humor is the name of the game with Burt’s son getting a sort of love interest. There’s one scene of them all shootin into a hole in the floor that I am sure they enjoyed.
For them being in the arctic it sure is awfully sunny and warm. They use a plot device to explain that bit. There are some deaths and Graboids exploding into chunks. When they extract the cure for Burt, it’s goopy and gross.
They tease his death but the old bastard is tough as nails. He survives and him with his son return back to Perfection. Where Burt is free to live with tax-empt status as his reward.
This entry was pretty meh and doesn’t add much to the series.
And then when we turn to Part 7, which sees the triumphant return of the Shreikers who been absent. We will take a look at that next time!
Till next time, stay scared!
