Death of A Unicorn(Review)

If you want an experience that offers something special, then look no further than Death of a Unicorn. It fulfills the promise of both death and unicorns

The story sees a father and his daughter go on a weekend retreat when they encounter an unicorn, and now must save it from a business tyrant who wants to use it for his own personal gain.

The cast is great in this movie, and its just a total visual treat, especially with ones that make you feel like you are on an acid trip. These aren’t your average unicorns either, the designs were totally cool. Jenna Ortega shines as one of the main characters. Paul Rudd adds his quirkiness as the father.

I will say what really gave this movie bonus points it how it cleverly references Ripley Scott’s Alien. There will one dead giveaway but the other one requires a stretch but once you see it, you will know. The kills that happen are gory with entrails that fall out. All I can say it is not in anyone’s best interest to piss off an unicorn. And yeah it does have an amazing and touching ending.

Horror comedies usually offer something special, and this movie was no different. I went in with no expectations, and for me, I thought it was pretty amazing. Very fun throughout. Definitely recommended checking it out, its currently streaming on HBO MAX.
