Feast(2005)(Review)[Twisted Throwback Thursday]

Talk about a horror movie that was both underrated and underappreciated. Feast(2005) doesn’t waste time getting started and keeps everything turned up to 11.

The movie is set in a bar whose patrons are thrown into a battle for their lives during a viscous assault from monsters.

We get an introduction to our colorful cast of characters along with little fun factoids about them. After that, that’s when it starts out the gate showing you just how vicious it will get. It turns into an absolute gore fest. Blood spewing, people get vomited on, and other fluids just splatter everywhere. It’s a bit gross to say the least.
The monster designs were otherworldly and something we haven’t seen before. Also in how the monsters are portrayed as a family unit. There is a baby monster that just goes to town on people. And we get to see not only are these monsters out for blood, but they are horny buggers as well.

Very very fun film, I had a grin on my face the entire time, and apparently it did something right as we got two follow ups Feast II: Sloppy Seconds and Feast III: The Happy Finish.

Feast(2005) is streaming on Tubi, Vudu, and Amazon Prime so should be very easy to find for you to check out.

Till next time, stay scared!
