Today we have the premiere of the symphonic power ballad “Saints and Sinners” from Evol Walks teaming up with metalcore act Defueld.
The song starts on a light ethereal note before it gets straight to the rocking. The duet between songstress Leah Martin Brown and Defueld’s Chris Wetterstrom flow well together, and this is very much symphonic through and through. The video gives us volcanic visuals while displaying the lyrics of the song. As to what the theme of the single is, here is what they had to say about it:
“We wanted to create a true duet- lots of harmonies and colour in the vocals. Although it seems to be a dark track, we really wanted to convey that, although things seem bleak, there is still hope. We control our fate.”
This track will serve as inspiration for those who have faced tough battles with the message that there is always a light at the end of the long tunnel.
