It Feeds(Review) - Gruesome Gazette

What would you do if you found yourself being fed on by a parasitic entity, and there’s nothing that could help you? Thats what we see in It Feeds, and its pretty darn terrifying.

The story sees a psychic who takes the case of a little girl who is being terrorized by the demonic entity and tries to save her from its clutches.

It’s really the psychics daughter that takes the lead on wanting to help the victim. She’s the one who finds out the father of the girl not only knows what’s going on, he is as much as a threat as the entity.

Through a series of mishaps, the psychic gets more involved when her daughter becomes the next target of the entity. The demon itself looks creepy, and we don’t find out where it came from. We do find out what happens though if the creature feeds enough.

Eventually it leads to a literal battle of wills, and mother and daughter have to join forces to try to stop the creature before its too late.

I thought this was a very good film. It explores themes of grief and loss. It shows the desperation as a parent will do anything to protect their child. And I especially liked we got to visit the hell dimension that the demon resides in. Also, I couldn’t help think of Stranger Things with all the vines around.
