Megan 2.0(Review) - Gruesome Gazette

What was the point of a sequel if was just going to leave such a sour taste in everyone’s mouth. We wanted more of little murder bot action, not whatever M3GAN 2.0 was.

The plot sees Megan being resurrected to protect her family as well as the world from an rogue artificial intelligence from gaining transcdence to be able to dominate everything.

So yeah we pretty get more of an action tech thriller here. There are still robot girls doing creepy shit. Really creepy shit. Yes we all grown up so we are going into cringe territory here.

So unless the threat of AI taking over like Terminator or Matrix scares you, then there’s not much that will get your blood pumping. Mostly you will be laughing especially how stupid it gets. Like I’m talking Austin Powers. Im not joking.

Yeah it keeps to Megan protecting her family like in the original, but otherwise its like this sequel didn’t know what it wanted to be. You got spy, thriller, action, sci fi, horror, and it was all blended up with comedy bits. It was meandering. It felt bland. Now during the last 30 minutes it picked and it got better. Ending was nice. End it here. Unless its to have her fight that Chucky AI, keep Megan locked in her memory chip.

You can currently watch this one on Peacock. I wasn’t impressed. I thought it should be nuked from orbit. Everyone who made that should be ashamed. You insulted the whole cool cred of Megan.
