The Creeps(Review)

If you ever wonder what it would be like if the Universal Monsters was reimagined as midgets, then The Creeps is the movie for you.

The plot sees a bumbling mad scientist attempting to bring legendary monsters from literature such as Dracula, Frankenstein’s Monster, The Mummy, and Wolfman to life, and something goes wrong to make them mini versions instead.

There’s definitely things you will see here such as interesting transition effect between the scenes, a woman doing more than just light reading of a book, a Viking woman that appears for absolutely no reason and some very bad acting.

The actor who plays mini Dracula is the strongest performance of the movie and I recognize him from the first Troll movie. He tries to play it serious but you will be too busy laughing from how campy the movie is.

This is a pretty wild trip of a movie that’s for sure. It comes from Full Moon Productions so if you already familiar with the quality of their films, then just shut your brain off and enjoy. It is currently streaming on Tubi if you want to see it for yourself.
