Midnight Syndicate have crafted the perfect gothic instrumental album that pays tribute to the classic horror films from yesteryear. Combining their symphonic score, with combination of effects and some vocal work, they take you on a journey to a foreboding castle perched upon the cliffs that looks over the village of Arcacia.
Inside, legendary monsters such as Dracula, Wolfman, and even Frankenstein roams its dark halls. This album takes you on that journey, and immerses you in the entire experience. One reason I love Midnight Syndicate because their music is something you don’t just listen to. Every album is based on a concept, and it tells you a story. You feel the atmosphere that they are building up for you. Just listen to the piece below and tell me it doesn’t give you goosebumps.
If you are a fan of Midnight Syndicate, or gothic instrumental albums, I highly recommend this one. Especially something that lovers of classic horror films should love and cherish.
Til next time, stay scared!
