In 2013, electronica artist Lazerhawk released a horror themed album ‘Skull and Shark’, and it is full of synth bliss that sounds like it would belong in a 80’s slasher movie. In fact, some of the tracks such as “Chinatown” would sound like they belong in a John Carpenter film. Much of the album sounds inspired by his scores.

If you enjoy horror soundtracks of the electronic variety, then you will definitely enjoy this album. It takes you on a nostalgic trip as it pays tribute to a variety of horror films past present and future.
